Register a SocketPro server

1.    We have no registration requirement for all of SocketPro client components across all of machines. All of them are completely free to use without any restrictions.

2.    Note that SocketPro server supports any number of clients for our remote database and window file management services for free without requirement of registration. Without registration, SocketPro server supports any number of local host connections, but it leaks memory if SocketPro server detects a connection from a remote client.

3.    Once registering a SocketPro server, it will properly work for you to support unlimited number of clients for all of services.

        When a SocketPro server starts, it will automatically create a lock xml file named as RemoteConnector_sp.xml. The file will contains the following entries as shown in the below:

        Choose one of the following two license schema after sending the above lock xml file. The license fee is dependent to the extra features you need as shown at the registration page. 

• Per-server/application
          If you just want to install usktpror.dll onto a few computers only, you could use this license schema to register for a key to unlock SocketPro. The registration key is dependent on both unique machine id (for example, 635725205123) and application name (RemoteConnector).
          
• Per-application
          If you want to distribute a SocketPro server usktpror.dll onto any number of machines, you could use this license schema to register. The registration key is not dependent on machine id but application name.

        The key is also dependent on extra features you need. The above sample registration file shows the SocketPro server needs two extra features support, smart device (pocket pc and smart phone) and web browser.
