(d) SocketProAdapter for .NET 2 now supports loading data from DataTable and DataReader in parallel. (e) SocketPro now supports AOL bowser and Netscape version 8.1 or later. 18.    05/2007 -- Release SocketPro version 4.8.2.11. Fix non-paged pool memory leaking on socketpro server side with I/O completion port. Improve IUSocket::WaitAll and IUSocket::Wait for better performance. Improve the .NET 2 version of SocketProAdapter. SocketProAdapter for .NET 2 is added with a new namespace RemoteDB for wrapping udb.dll. A set of new samples for .NET 2 is added for demonstration of new features inside the namespace RemoteDB. Some old VB samples are removed.

17.    03/2007 -- Release SocketPro version 4.8.2.9-10. Fix socket pool dead lock problem after advising for socket pool events. Fix a few minor problems with SocketPro adapters. Fix the bug that online compression does not work with usocket.dll for CE and smart phone emulators

16.    02/2007 -- Release SocketPro version 4.8.2.7-8. (1): Beginning from this version, smart phone is fully supported. (2) Socket pool supports single thread apartment, but it still prefers free-threaded apartment. This enhancement simplifies use of Socket pool object from window graphical user interface. (3) Real-time compression is added into SocketPro.

15,    01/2007 -- Release SocketPro version 4.8.2.4-6. The new release comes with a simple security protocol with key features -- speed, zero security setting and no certificates involved. BlowFish encryption and decryption speed is largely improved. I/O completion port + MS SSL/TLS communication stability is greatly improved.

14.    11-12/2006 -- Release OleDBProNet version 1.5.5.3, and make it strong named assembly. SocketPro versions 4.8.1.1-2.3 are released with a number of improvements. For details, see the attached file RevisionHistory.txt.

13.    09/2006 -- Release OleDBPro version 2.1.0.2 and OleDBProNet version 1.5.5.2. OleDBPro for both C++ and .NET offers unlimited time of evaluation.

12.    08/2006 -- Release SocketPro version 4.8.0.1. Two major improvements for performance and scalability. (a) SocketPro server uses IO completion port for non-blocking socket communication by default. (b) All of client sockets created by a SocketPool use WSAEventSelect for non-blocking socket communication.

11.    07/2006 -- Release SocketPro version 4.6.0.2-4. Five major improvements include: (a) Add full support to MS secure channel. (b) Add tool uidparser.exe for creating client and server skeleton code from universal definition interface files. (c) Add a set of enhancements to SocketProAdapter. (d) Update documents to echo the above changes a, b and c. (e) Add CSocketPool template/generics into SocketProAdapter. (f) SocketProAdapter support to .NET version 1.1 and Compact .NET version 2.0.

10.    02/2006 -- Release OleDBPro version 2.1.0.1 and OleDBProNet versions 1.0.0.6 -- 1.5.5.1. There are a few improvements: a) Add documentation onto OleDBProNet. Now you can see doc info for key methods and properties of classes when coding. b) OleDBProNet supports binding a rowset/cursor to data grid view control. c) Fix a number of bugs in OleDBProNet. 

9.    01/2006 -- Release SocketPro version 4.4.2.1. SocketProAdapter for .NET is rewritten from Visual C++/CLI 2005 for better performance and easy use. Add the method CleanTrack for better security to clean away memories that may contains sensitive data. Update samples, tutorials, free remoting services (database and window file) and articles because of the two changes.

8.    12/2005 -- Release OleDBProNet for dotNet version 2 development. Update OleDBPro version 1.5 to version 2.0.0.3 for supporting two new data types DBTYPE_XML and DBTYPE_UDT with fixing a few minor bugs and adding a few methods. Licenses are updated with a few minor modifications for OleDBPro and SocketPro.

7.    08/2005 -- Release SocketPro4 version 4.4.0.1 - 4.4.0.2 with a few important improvements. Add documentation and comments onto source files, Implement IUCert to authenticate a remote host, and add USocketPool. Add interface IUDataReader to COM object URowset for fast retrieving records data. Give away remote database service and remote file management to the public for free with any number of clients. For details, see the attached file RevisionHistory.txt. Also, SocketPro4 for CE includes these improvements too.

6.    02/2005 -- Release SocketPro4 versions 4.0.4.6-4.0.4.7. Also, SocketPro is ported for window 2003 CE operation system. It supports CE emulator and ARM devices.
